On Tuesday, 27 June 2017, the Hortkinder of elementary school Leutenberg, together with the Save-Nature-Group, placed 30 nesting boxes in the forest to protect the local songbirds. They learned a lot about nature, their immediate environment and about the life of the birds.
Our destination was the Save-Nature-Waldhaus. There we ate and sang. The highlight was an impressive juggling show by the artist Daniel Stahl.
The free voters of Leutenberg, the Save-Nature-Group, our district forester Grit and Hans and the hoard all worked hand in hand with this action.
Thank you to everyone for this nice day we will always remember.
